I’m doing awesome! I’ve been so good lately. I was thinking about it, and when I self harm, I’m not only hurting myself, I’m hurting everyone around me. That is so selfish, I think anyway. I don’t want to hurt the people i love anymore. I cant do that. Yeah, of course I’ll have urges, I’ll have really scary thoughts, I may slip up, I may be close to doing it, but I’m only human. You can’t really blame me.
I went to camp a few weeks ago. It was about anti drugs and alcohol. but that not what it was all about. They teach you so much: how to be a leader, how to be a friend, and most importantly for me, that i don’t need to hurt myself for people to talk to me, be my friend, to feel important, or to get high. I can get high on life by doing the Hamster Dance in the middle of the road with my friends almost getting it by a truck! but thats all good!
I have learned that I am Lovable and Capable! <3 I am lovable toward everyone and myself. and capable to do anything i put my mind to. I can’t wait for my future. To be a YAC, a CATS, and soon, be part of the care team at camp.
I will be alive to do that. I will be a live to see everyone younger than me grow. I will be a live to see the little girl across the street from me with cancer recover. I will be alive to tell that little girl not to hurt herself tonight. I will be alive to make sure that boy doesn’t bully the only openly gay kid in his school. I will be alive to tell that young man not to end his life. I will be alive to tell that girl to eat and keep her dinner down. and I will be alive to enjoy my life!
